  STUDIO U1 / PERRON 026
Studio U1 is a flexible space shared and arranged by the independent designers Annelou van Griensven and Johannes Buch. They are located at the temporary production space PERRON026 in the old station hall of Arnhem. They invited me to expose my project OnderWeg. The exhibition is from the 6th until the 27th of October and everybody is warmly welcomed for a visit.

  ONDERWEG
The NS (Nationale Spoorwegen, Dutch National Railway) deal with a large amount of lost objects every year. I visited their Lost and Found storage in the city of Utrecht and was fascinated by the way these lost items are indexed. I have tried to provide insight into this invisible indexing process. The form I chose, a cotton bag, is designed to take part, and be integrated into the system of the Lost and Found Department of the NS.
My bags visualize a system that anticipates on the process in which these lost items
are catalogued. I designed 8 different patterns, which are based on the NS logo.
The pattern is printed on the outside of the bags and the indexing system of the NS is printed on the inside. If you should accidently leave this bag in the train, it will end up
at the Lost and Found Department of the NS. With little effort they can fill in the location where the item was found, the register number and the specific category of the items in the bag. My design is truly finished when this information is filled in and the bag is returned to the rightful owner.

  ZEEBELT
A publication for Zeebelt, a Theatre Producing House in The Hague, for their upcoming season which is themed "Music Theatre'. The publication gives insight into music theatre in general and in the context of the performances in Zeebelt.

  THESIS
In my thesis I have described the area between the private and the public domain. Alongside the work of artists Sophie Calle and Alicia Framis I have done research on the interaction between these two domains. My main focus is on the peripheral area where the private domain ends and the public domain begins, and the reason why artists such as Calle and Framis have chosen this topic for their work.

A review of the exhibition of Lawrence Weiner, based on two different experiences of two different people. One is focussed on the text and the other is more focussed on the images. The exchange of both experiences gives an interesting view of the exhibition of Lawarence Weiner.
